The Garden: 2003

Hey! It's like 10 degrees outside! No garden news yet! Well, OK, there's a little... We're looking forward to the Philadelphia Flower Show, of course, and we received a copy of Klehm's catalog, which has one of the best selections of hosta I've seen. I'll be spending the long winter nights planning my little hosta and fern garden.

That's what I wrote back in January, 2003. A lot happened that year and someday I may have time to tell the story. Briefly, however we moved to a new home in July. The lot is much smaller (50 x 150), so there's less room for gardening, but at least the soil isn't gravel!
